In the year 1965 a tree nursery was set up in Kalamos. But there was a lack of water. Under supervision of the bishop and the Team, provisions were made in Pitsinades, behind Agios Theodoros. For example a watertank was built. And a year later, in 1966, the tree nursery was moved from Kalamos to Pitsinades.
